Crater Lake Pattern

Dimensions: 15" x 7" x 10" High (13" H including the handle height)

This Royal Blue basket design was inspired by a visit to Crater Lake National Park, where the water's deep blue color was mesmerizing. This basket mirrors that stunning shade woven using a slotted wood base, spokes, and weavers, all in royal blue.  
Techniques include: Triple twine with step ups, basic over under weave and how to transition from the solid blue bottom half to the natural reed of the top half.  Final embellishments feature blue leather handles attached to a blanket-stitched rim and two rows of Cherokee wheels
